Featured Speaker: Andy Cilek – (Minnesota Voters Alliance)
Topic: The Struggle for Election Integrity
Election integrity is so basic and so important that it is hard to imagine that basic transparency and security measures would be controversial. Unfortunately, election law is a noisy and contentious area of political activity, with numerous controversies over public access to voter registration data, absentee vote processing, and even election day apparel. This subject is both interesting and urgent. Andy Cilek will talk to us about the Minnesota Voters Alliance (MVA) as it struggles for fair, transparent elections in Minnesota. MVA is comprised of citizens, volunteers, and experts committed to safeguarding and improving our elections process.
